Never Old Fashioned - Made It, Tasted It, Painted It, Drank It

I wanted to capture light through liquid and frozen solid in oils. I like Old Fashions so made one with a large round ice cube and set up the light in my studio. This painting was created for the 4th Annual "LPAPA Strong Painted Postcards" event in January 2023. LPAPA is Laguna Plein Air Painters Association which is a 100 year old group in Laguna Beach, CA. I have been a member for four years.
