Completed entirely on location, en plein air, on the banks of the Payette River, Idaho, on a chilly day in April, 2022. I was bundled and ready for the on-again, off-again sprinkles. I had scouted the Payette River a few times and found this perfect spot near Banks, ID. I also had invited a few artist friends to join me - and 13 showed up! Very fun and relaxing. We were chill ...and chilled!
