My family calls this "Castle Rock" on the west side of Whidbey Island, WA. Backlit in late afternoon sun, that light is a signal to get serious about agate hunting! An hour of glowing, healing light...a slow walk down the beach with our heads bent to the purpose...glancing up once in a while to see the crashing waves and color. Made from sketches, photographs and memory in my studio.
