This is the first painting I created for my solo show March 16-June 4, "Inspired by History" , upcoming at Casa Romantica Cultural Center. Arthur Grover Rider's "Mission San Juan Capistrano" was my inspiration--I stood about 10 ft. from the place where he had set up his easel in 1930 to paint this piece en plein air last January, 2022.
