Hammond's Canoe

Acrylic on illustration board. Inspired by the local beaches of Santa Barbara where I grew up. This old weathered Canoe had always caught my eye on the beach there. I wondered if it had once been a nice new canoe that someone used all the time and now it was this sad item that hadn't been used in a long time. it told a story to me.
