Lake Luzern

Inspired by the Swiss landscape, this artwork shows a glimpse of Lake Luzern seen from the top of a village called Meggen, in central Switzerland. The big building on the right is the old school.
My body of work begins with drawings moving later into the recreation of my idea on the canvas. I mostly work with oil paints. My artwork tends to be Realistic. However, sometimes I lean to a “Naïve” art; I find it innocent, calming and peaceful.

This is an oil on canvas, created with thin layers of oil and finished with a satin varnish.

I have used brushes as well as knives pallets in the process giving the picture certain texture on the fields area.
