Summer Days in Cap d'Antibes

Summer Days is inspired by a trip I made to the French Riviera. The warm breeze from the sea blowing during the high hours of the day lifts up the blue and sand shades of the Mediterranean coast.
My body of work begins with drawings moving later into the recreation of my idea on the canvas. I mostly work with oil paints. My artwork tends to be Realistic. However, sometimes I lean to a “Naïve” art; I find it innocent, calming and peaceful.

This is an oil on canvas, created with thin layers of oil and finished with a satin varnish.
The artwork has nice rich blue and sand tones. It is created with several layers of oil paints on a full linen canvas.
