Walk in the Woods on Monhegan Island

This painting is from a trip I took to Monhegan Island a few years ago. We walked the perimeter trail and took a few detours along the way. This trail was one of them. I was captivated by the beautiful ferns that lined the pathway and tried to capture that feeling in this painting
