This might be my personal favorite from the latest plein air endeavor in France. I really love the atmosphere of the summer evening, the warmth of the last sun rays still shining on the further rocks and mysterious darkness of the rocks and water in the foreground. Painting at this time of the day, when the light fades so fast, is always a big challenge requiring a great amount of concentration.
