I watched this cow ( moose) with her 6 mo old son for about 45 min & as she ate he crept closer and closer to photographer always watching them with a side eye look. Finally mom said too close and waded quickly over but didn’t go for photographers & instead got between them and calf and then delivered a hard blow with her head to that that bold calf and knocked him hard back to the ponds middle.
