Painted en plein air at daybreak from the bluffs above Eastsound Village on Orcas Island, WA November 18, 2022. I loved how the soft warm fall colors bathed the village in back light against the deep blue greens of the distant mountain. The tide was dropping, creating a challenging, subtle pattern of water in motion as I worked.
