This was the first time I was able to visit home, Mumbai, India, in over three years because of covid. In those 3 years I have learned en plein air painting on my own. I have always wanted to paint Marine Drive, Mumbai on location. When I arrived there I really didn’t expect to see so many people on a Sunday early morning before sunrise. It took me lot of courage to stand among thousands of people and paint this scene of a hazy morning at Marine Drive.
