The California light after a storm is so vibrant and warm. It shows its warmth on everything it illuminates. This winter has been unusually cold here, but the warmth of the sun shines through in the uplifted mood of all it encounters including me as a painter as well as the pedestrians, human and canine. It's a great morning to be out!
